Everywhere else in the economy, this is just called having a job: your boss hires you, your boss pays you, and the customer pays the price on the tag. Nobody hands the pharmacist a dollar for being pleasant. Food service is the one industry that carved the worker's wage out of the price and handed it to strangers at the till as a moral decision.
🟢 = no tip prompt at all. 🟡 = has a tip prompt (we record the percentages they show). 🔴 = adds a mandatory tip or "service charge" to the bill. Anyone can submit a place they've actually been to. We review every entry before it goes on the map, so it doesn't become a map of everyone's cousin's restaurant.
